Dr Milind Manohar Sathe,BAMS, MD(Ayurveda)

Dr Milind Manohar Sathe is a Consultant Ayurvedic Physician who received his training from the pretigious Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune in India, where he stood first in his MD exam. He then worked the Panchakarma department at the reputed Nanal Hospital, Pune and then started his own consultancy in Ayurveda in 1991 In 1997, he joined as an Honorary Lecturer at the Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya where he continues to teach undergraduate and post-graduate students of Ayurveda as an Honorary Associate Professor. He has also served as Chairman for the MD Ayurveda University exams.

In 1993, Dr Sathe was selected for a Scholarship to visit the Ryobi center in Fukuyama, Japan for 3 weeks to conduct a seminar on Ayurveda, with a special emphasis on Panchakarma. In 1995, he was invited by the Iyyangar Yoga Institute, Rhine-Ihr, Germany for 3 weeks to conduct a series of lectures on Ayurveda and offer advice to people. He was again invited to Germany in 1998 by Ayurveda Zentrum, Munich to deliver lectures on Ayurveda and to offer advice to people.

Since then he has been a regular visitor to Germany/Europe where he travels almost once in a month. Dr Sathe understands and speaks German and enjoys giving talks for common people on the Principles of Ayurveda and treatment aspects. Apart from Germany, Dr Sathe has traveled to the United States, United Kingdom, and extensively to Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria and Italy delivering lectures on Ayurveda and offering advice to people. Dr Sathe is a regular invitee at the All India Radio Pune to deliver talks on Ayurveda and has also contributed regularly to several newspaper magazines on the Fundamentals of Ayurveda and it use in the management of various diseases. He wrote a series of articles on herbal plants in Ayurveda. Dr Sathe has a special interest and experiences  in treating chronic diseases, in particular Asthma, Rheumatoid Arthris, Hypercholesterolemia, acid peptic disease and mental disorders.
